Role Summary
A high performing individual contributor who acts as a mentor to more junior engineers, applies new engineering principles to improve existing systems, and is responsible for leading complex, well-defined projects.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a Technical field OR equivalent work experience.
• Strong programming experience in at least two languages (Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Bash).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, etc.).
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Understanding of security best practices in DevOps (IAM, secrets management, compliance).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues within defined SLAs.
• Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless and efficient software delivery.
• Build and manage self-service DevOps platforms that support developer productivity.
• Improve deployment automation, rollback strategies, and release orchestration to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Automate provisioning and scaling of cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Enhance observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and security of applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes, container orchestration, and serverless workloads.
• Work closely with security teams to implement DevSecOps principles in CI/CD pipelines.

• Team up with developers, SREs, and architects to improve software delivery and reliability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase DevOps efficiency across teams.
• Share best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to a DevOps culture across the organization.
• Participate in incident response and postmortem analysis to enhance system resilience.
