Introduction to the Team

Travel Partnerships and Media (TPM) helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.

The Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) role sits within the Media Solutions team serving as the advertising division of TPM focused on offering our marketing partners advertising solutions to reach the Expedia Group, Inc. audience.

In this role, you will:

· Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and technology trends, driving improvements to help inform operational strategy.

· Understand workflows, technical systems, and platforms operating as the lead for functional expertise on tools, processes, KPIs, and products for the AMC.

· Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and drive requirements for product features and enhancements in tools and processes. Share findings with OPM team as required and drive AMC lead projects in these areas.

· Communicate project progress and potential roadblocks to stakeholders and AMC team members. Responsible for owning communication to internal AMC stakeholders and ensuring expectations for deliverables are met.

· Serve as central AMC contact for OPM led projects and initiatives. Coordinate AMC SMEs, to ensure seamless execution of projects and related change management. Track all AMC impacts, timelines and deliverables for programs and functional initiatives.

· Capture use cases/requirements and oversee all UAT processes. Create test cases and validate them for accuracy across new products, technology, and processes. Communicate with OPMs for additional testing support as needed.

· Document end-to-end workflows across various tools, systems, and platforms across the AMC. Communicate changes to SMEs and leaders initiating relevant change management as needed.

· Drive requirements for the AMC into the product cycle and participate in pre-launch readiness, migrations, and testing activities. Collect input from functional SMEs, capture input and share them with the OPMs accordingly.

· Build content to support team members, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurately represents current processes and standards.

Experience and Qualifications:

· Advanced knowledge in the digital media and advertising industry, with a strong understanding of ad operations and ad technology (including ad servers, programmatic, clean rooms, etc.).

· Experience with Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, Display and Video 360, Order Management Systems, FatTail, Tableau, Looker, and DSPs is strongly preferred.

· 7+ years of combined experience in ad operations, advertising, and program management.

· Ability to handle multiple projects under aggressive timelines.

· Ability to collaborate well with teams, proactively manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities given specific deadlines.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $141,500.00 to $198,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $226,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
