Senior Analyst - Vrbo Performance Operations

We’re seeking a data-driven, action-oriented senior analyst to lead efforts analyzing, explaining and driving actions related to end-to-end Vrbo performance. This role will leverage existing data products, develop customized views and clearly explain analyses in order to guide business decisions.

In this role, you will:

  • Find the story in the data to explain business performance and metric changes

  • Manage the process to visualize and explain core metrics in weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews

  • Drive investigations into topics of interest, metric deviations and other issues independently and in collaboration with other analytics teams

  • Support x-functional teams by providing data-supported context and insights

  • Develop net-new data views to level up monitoring of segmented and overall performance

  • Lead with efficiency and maximize effort to insight ratio

  • Manage the process to track business impacting events such as product releases, natural disasters, and other events to use in year-on-year reporting

  • Identify the ‘so-what’ in the data and drive actions from it

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years for Bachelor's

  • 1+ years for Master's

  • Experience in a Data Analyst role

Functional/ Technical Skills:

  • Cross-functional collaboration and coordination

  • Stakeholder management

  • Strong presentation and communication

  • Data analytics with practical insights and application

  • Data visualization & turning complex data into easy-to-understand insights

  • SQL experience, writing efficient queries and navigating large databases

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Confluence

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
