Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

Expedia Group's Corporate Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner closely with Shared Service leaders to actively manage their budgets and drive positive financial results. This is a high exposure role within a multifaceted organization requiring in-depth knowledge of the details while articulating the story in a simple and compelling way.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager your role is to own the end-to-end FP&A support of certain corporate functions (consisting of Accounting, Tax, Legal, People Team, Real Estate, and more), and to help balance business needs with financial stewardship. Success will come from curiosity, a passion for diving into complex problems, proactively identifying financial opportunities, and an ability to cultivate relationships across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the quarterly planning cycle for teams you support, with an emphasis on timely, accurate forecasts

  • Serve as a primary finance partner to your Corporate teams

  • Develop, own and maintain monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leaders

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses in a timely and informative manner

  • Partner with budget owners to identify ways to optimize expenses

  • Identify and promote efforts to drive overhead expense optimization

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • 3+ years demonstrated ability in FP&A or similar roles

  • Proven capability to succinctly synthesize findings, excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail

  • A teammate who contributes to a broad range of ways to ensure the success of the greater team

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with limited guidance within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Results-oriented individual with a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with Hyperion Planning/Essbase is desired

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
