Job Summary:
EY Financial Services is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Technology Consulting practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize and drive strategic transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing strategic challenges and opportunities surround business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation. We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization. Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, EY’s Financial Services Technology Consulting team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations.
The Technology Resiliency Manager will work with clients to plan and deliver business-led, technology-driven transformation programs. You will develop practical, executable plans to manage the journey from strategy through execution. You will use industry-leading program management tools to accelerate start-up and enable highly efficient and effective program management.
To qualify, candidates must have:
- B.A., B.S or equivalent degree in computer science or technology, business administration, finance, or engineering OR
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting or Finance
- Four years of experience using industry leading IT methodologies and management processes. Preferred frameworks include CMMI, COBIT, ITIL, Six Sigma, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, TOGAF, IVI, NIST 800-53, project management life cycles, systems development life cycles, PMBOK, Prince2, or data center operations.
- Financial Services industry experience
- Four years of experience working in the IT group or within an Enterprise BC/DR/Crisis Management/Resiliency area at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services on resiliency solutions.
- Experience developing presentations and reports that communicate assessment gaps/findings to both technical, non-technical audiences, and senior executives.
- Experience using the following Financial Services regulatory bodies and references such as FFIEC, OCC, FINRA, FHFA, CFTC, SEC, Dodd-Frank and FSARC
- Understanding of commercial and retail banking, investment, capital markets, insurance, and or related industries and operations preferred
- Broad knowledge of IT functions and IT operations and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance, and management discipline
- Experience using Technology and Risk Management Tooling (ServiceNow, SAS Risk Management, ARIS/Alfabet, Mega, Fusion Risk, etc.)
The candidate should have experience in the following Technical Competencies:
- Four or more years direct experience in Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Resiliency or Technology Environments, Architecture and Design services (architecture, engineering design and development, service design, operations and delivery, disaster recovery, and application architecture).

- Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement
- Backup and replication technologies & methods
- Isolated recovery methodology
- Strong communications, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to record and summarize detailed notes
The Candidate must have the ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements. This travel can be as much as 80% to 100% of a work week. Travel may be international.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $139,100 to $254,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $166,900 to $289,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
