Solutions Architect - Technology Consulting - SAP – Finance - Projects Systems and Fixed Assets - Manager - Multiple Positions - 1683796, Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Jose, CA.

Provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve their operations with a focus on helping clients improve performance and increase productivity in the digital era. Provide expertise for development architecture for SAP Projects Systems & Fixed Assets. Act as an intermediary between the business and the technical community to understand business requirements and define the solution architecture required to translate business requirements into workable solutions. Develop solution architecture plans for clients, accretes supporting knowledge assets and accelerators, and trains team architects and developers. Define and translate customer business requirements for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems supporting SAP Finance Modules into technical solutions and providing technical leadership and individual contribution to the architecture and design of these solutions. Research and describe the trends, options, and comparable attributes of the various SAP Projects Systems & Fixed Assets solutions. Review recommendations for upgrades or significant changes considering costs and benefits to the overall business. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Work with a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, and conversion and testing both internally and client facing. Support teams in analyzing current tools and solutions against architectural requirements and assessing constraints, e.g., security, scalability, performance, availability, and redundancy.


Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 2 years of experience providing SAP consulting services (including strategy, design, configuration, and implementation) within a professional services firm.

Must have 2 years of hands-on technical experience with the following SAP module: SAP Projects Systems & Fixed Assets.

Must have 1 full lifecycle SAP Projects Systems & Fixed Assets implementation while employed with a professional services firm, from planning, to configuration, to go- live.

Must have 2 years of experience creating and leading SAP Projects Systems & Fixed Assets workshops for external clients.

Must have 2 years of experience gathering requirements and working with offshore team member(s) and onsite process architects for coordination and day-to-day delivery of projects.

Must have 2 years of experience in translating business requirements into end-to-end SAP-enabled solutions, including gathering requirements, solution design, building, testing and solution deployment.

Must have 1 years of experience managing SAP projects or workstreams and project-based team members.

Travel required up to 60%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.

The base salary for this job is $201,400.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
