The opportunity
The Global Treasury Accounting Analyst - Associate utilizes advanced knowledge to perform complex accounting activities as part of the Global Treasury team. Activities include the coordination and review of Global Shared Services (GSS)/Infosys reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts and journal entries, the preparation of tax payments and generation of internal and external compliance reports. This position is also responsible for the Global Treasury Database, with coordination of Member Firm information and monthly reporting, in addition to working closely with the Independence Group to ensure compliance. This role also reviews and analyzes the monthly financial statements for EY Global Finance. This role will also assist in the compilation of information related to Credit Reports. The Global Treasury Accounting Analyst Associate will work with external auditors to complete the annual audit. In addition, he/she may participate as a contributor on special projects/initiatives within the department, as requested. This position is responsible for managing workflow to make certain assignments are completed timely.
The responsibilities of this position are diversified and require knowledge of treasury accounting operations including adapting new technologies including artificial intelligence.
Your key responisbilities
- Financial Reports Review (Monthly, Quarterly & Annually)
- Work with Global Shared Services (GSS)/Infosys on EY Global Finance journal entries monthly
- Budget/Forecasts
- EY Global Finance Tax Payments- Federal, NY, NYC, NJ, Insurance, Delaware
- Maintain Tax Schedules
- Oversee the monthly reconciliation of all company bank accounts
- Review bank changes monthly and negotiate price reductions and/or errors.
- Coordinate annual Audit
- Coordinate Compliance from Global EY Member Firms (MFs)
- Provide support with credit reports/compile information
- Review, approve and release electronic disbursements
- Oversee Global Treasury Tool (GTT). Communication with MF’s, monthly reporting
- Prepare, review, and maintain SOX compliance within the department; ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements, and general Treasury activities
- Perform periodic cost review of bank and armored carrier fees
- Independence Questionnaires
- Ad Hoc Independence BRIDGE issues
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Support special projects and acquisitions as assigned
- Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams. Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Learning and maintaining treasury management systems (TMS). Use ERP and treasury management systems to update and manage cash data. Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- 1-2 plus years of accounting, finance, or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Advanced analytical skills, and an ability to apply sound business judgment to individual and team assignments.
- Ability to understand communications, announcements, and other change management initiatives, and relate these to the core Treasury procedures. Skilled at incorporating these changes into the accounting policies and procedures.
- Comfortable with taking a positive attitude and approach, willingly accepting new challenges, and adapting flexibly to change.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Proven commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of banking and electronic payment systems
- Knowledge of Treasury Operations Systems, such as Integrity

Job Requirements:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Experience:
- Approximately 1-2 plus years of accounting and/or corporate treasury experience
- Certification Requirements:
- CPA certificate preferred

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $54,200 to $98,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $65,000 to $111,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
