Junior ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

ServiceNow Junior Business Analyst – this role is part of EY’s global structure as a Global Elite Partner of ServiceNow. You will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to support the delivery of scalable, high‑quality platform solutions.

The opportunity

As a Junior ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will actively participate in gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and helping design ServiceNow solutions across multiple workflows. You’ll work closely with senior analysts and technical teams, while gradually taking ownership of analysis activities and client interactions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow initiatives under guidance from senior team members.
  • Independently prepare documentation such as user stories, process descriptions, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support process mapping and optimization efforts aligned with platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Participate in workshops, interviews, and requirement‑gathering sessions with stakeholders.
  • Assist in workflow design, testing strategies, UAT preparation and execution.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous enhancement of platform processes.
  • Participation in ServiceNow Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
  • Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new ServiceNow technologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
  • Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Foundational understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and workflows.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and ability to apply them in process discussions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure requirements clearly.
  • Comfortable communicating with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset, eagerness to grow, and ability to take ownership of defined tasks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Around 1+ year of experience in IT/business analysis, ServiceNow, or related areas.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, documenting processes, or supporting enterprise IT projects.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL or certification such as ITIL Foundation (or willingness to obtain it).
  • ServiceNow CSA certification or commitment to achieving it quickly.
  • Strong interest in developing into a full ServiceNow BA role.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • English (C1/C2) or other European languages.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business, or a related field.
