A SAP Data Leader with 20+ years of experience serving as a strategic advisor to the C‑suite and leading large‑scale data transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA programs. The role requires deep expertise in modernizing legacy data landscapes using SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Datasphere, and AI‑driven analytics.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Data Leadership And Architecture:
Set the enterprise data strategy and roadmap, positioning SAP Business Data Cloud as the foundation for analytics and AI.
Transformation Program Management:
Lead complex SAP S/4HANA data migration and modernization programs at scale.
Executive Advisory And Stakeholder Management:
Advise C‑level leaders, shape strategic decisions, and demonstrate the business value of intelligent, data‑driven technologies.
Data Governance And Quality:
Establish enterprise‑wide data governance, including standards for data quality, stewardship, and master data management (MDG).
Innovation And AI Adoption:
Drive adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions (e.g., SAP Joule, Predictive Analytics).
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead and mentor global SAP teams, ensuring successful delivery across cross‑functional initiatives.
Pre‑Sales & Business Development:
Support business growth through solution design, proposal development, and client engagement.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Experience: 20+ years in IT, including 10+ years in SAP Data & Analytics architecture and strategy with 5+ years in Leadership roles
- Data Technologies: Proficiency in SAP Datasphere, BODS, Information Steward, and data migration tools (e.g., Syniti, LTMC).
- Architectural Skills: Experience designing modern data platforms and integrating SAP with non‑SAP ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Leadership: Proven capability to lead global teams and drive transformation in complex organizations.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.

- Communication: Skilled at simplifying technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Problem‑Solving: Strong ability to resolve critical project risks and challenges.
