The opportunity:

BI Reporting Specialist (SAP BO) - Business Consulting Risk - FSRM – Bangalore

Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SAP BO solutions including universe design (IDT/UDT), Web Intelligence (WebI) report, Dashboard Design and other BO tools as required.

  • Design and optimize Universe using SAP BO Information Design Tool (IDT).

  • Create complex reports and dashboards using SAP BO Web Intelligence.

  • Perform data analysis and provide insights to stakeholders using SAP BO Tools

  • Experience with SAP BO administration like monitoring, utilizing and managing the architecture, security and system performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP BO solutions

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BO reports, Universe and Dashboard.

    • Strong understanding of Data modelling concepts and database management.

    • Ensure compliance with best practices, standards and guidelines for SAP BO development and implementation.

    • Knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake database is preferred.

    • Knowledge on SAP BO 4.3 is preferred

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in BI reporting and management, with a focus on SAP BO.

    • Strong understanding of Financial Services Industry (FSI) domain and reporting requirements.

    • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

    • Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and methodologies.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Preferred Skills:

      • Experience with Agile methodologies for software development.

      • Familiarity with other BI reporting tools and technologies.

      • Certification in SAP BO or related BI tools.

      • Ability to analyse complex data sets and present insights effectively.
