Quality Assurance Engineer

What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our software products. Your expertise will help ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Working closely with development and product teams, you will identify issues, implement best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. This role provides an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to make a significant impact on our product offerings.

What you will do:

  • Execute and oversee detailed quality assurance testing for software products
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects
  • Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you will need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing
  • 2+ years of experience in performance testing
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience in debit processing
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
  • Familiarity with security testing practices
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
