What does a successful Technical Project Manager Advisor II do at Fiserv?

A successful Technical Project Manager Advisor II at Fiserv coordinates and communicates activities across all Fiserv teams and clients, ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery. By maintaining a holistic view of the overall program and proactively engaging in planning activities, they drive efficient decision-making and progress across projects. Additionally, they manage risks, issues, and dependencies to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned on expected outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate activities and communications across all Fiserv teams and clients.
  • Develop a clear vision and strategy with project teams to align work tracks with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain project plans with key milestones and dependencies.
  • Implement and manage project governance, including escalation management and communication plans.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Proactively communicate program progress, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management and/or consulting driving large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.
  • 3+ years of expertise in utilizing Project Management tools such as MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly after hours, on-call, and during weekends as needed.
  • Proven capacity to travel up to 25% within the United States.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.

What would be great to have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in the banking, financial services, and/or software industries.
  • 4+ years of experience managing third-party relationships involved in overall implementation projects.
  • 4+ years of proven track record in project governance, including developing escalation management and communication plans.
  • Strong ability to define program governance, roles, responsibilities, and decision rights within a project.

Salary Range

$88,500.00 - $158,100.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Illinois, California and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
