Senior Financial Analyst

What does a successful Financial Analyst do?As a Financial Analyst at Fiserv, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis related to partner payment processes. In this role, you will be involved in financial analysis and data management. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis related to residual activities, identify and interpret trends, variances, and anomalies in residual data, and provide insights and recommendations to support the steady growth of the department. Your contributions will be critical to the accurate management and reporting of financial information, enhancing efficiencies and driving strategic outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis related to residuals activities.
  • Identify and interpret trends, variances, and anomalies in residuals data.
  • Utilize Microsoft Access, SQL, and Excel to manage and manipulate large datasets.
  • Design and maintain databases to accommodate the expanding scope of residuals processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in residuals-related databases.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to communicate key residuals metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and Operations, to ensure seamless integration of residuals systems.

What you will need to have:

  • 2 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or equivalent military experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.

What would be great to have:

  • Knowledge in SQL.
  • 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
