Job Title

Senior Power BI Data Analyst

As a Senior Power BI Data Analyst within our Card Services business, you will play an integral role in supporting strategic business objectives. You will work in a multi-functional environment with attention to customer insights and research, including both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. You will generate insights through data mining and analysis and will craft meaningful insights that will ultimately improve customer experience, as well as our client’s business operations and financial results.

What you will do:

  • Extract, cleanse, and manipulate data through complex queries utilizing multiple operational systems and data repositories.
  • Deliver complex analyses through reports, presentations and or visualizations that describe trends and convey findings and provide recommendations for data-driven business decisions.
  • Gather business intelligence requirements from external clients and internal staff to create dashboards, reports, and any additional ad-hoc requests.
  • Share knowledge of analytical and programming techniques.
  • Build complex financial and pricing models to support network sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain daily and monthly reporting dashboards, conduct competitive analyses, tracking industry volume shifts and perform other ad-hoc analyses.
  • Travel up to 5%

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or 4 or more years of related experience in applicable field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or Data Analytics position, working with large data sets and complex models.
  • Proficient with SQL, Python, and other languages for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with BI tools (i.e., Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry and an understanding of debit payments or debit/credit card brands.
    Exposure to CRM, loyalty, customer insights, and database marketing.
  • Experience in data management, governance, business analytics or AI.
  • Exposure to journey mapping and campaign/marketing automation services.

Salary Range

$96,200.00 - $164,900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
