Senior SDET/Data Analyst

What does a successful Senior SDET/Data Analyst do at Fiserv?

At Clover, you’ll join a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team backed by Fiserv, a global fintech leader transforming how people and businesses move money. Our team powers Clover’s industry-leading Point of Sale platform, combining smart devices, cloud-based software, and a thriving third-party app ecosystem to process millions of transactions daily. As a Senior SDET/Data Analyst, you’ll help ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our platform by building test automation frameworks and analyzing data to continuously improve the merchant experience.

What you will do:

  • Help us shape great products by analyzing feature designs, defining testing strategies, and building reliable test automation frameworks.
  • Review user stories with the team, identify clear acceptance criteria, and create automation to validate them.
  • Build, run, and debug UI and API-level automated tests using a variety of modern tools and technologies.
  • Plan and execute all phases of testing—from functional to regression—ensuring quality at every stage.
  • Write and maintain test plans and scripts, and manage a robust, scalable automation framework.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product owners to deeply understand how features should work and how users will interact with them.
  • Design and manage large-scale data systems and ingestion pipelines to support data-driven decisions.
  • Discover and integrate valuable internal and external data sources to unlock better insights into user behavior and product performance.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience in QA engineering and/or software development.
  • 5+ years of experience writing code in Java, TypeScript, Python, or a similar programming or scripting language.
  • Proven ability to architect and build test automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience with web UI test automation using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
  • Strong experience testing REST APIs and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Skilled in testing across all layers of web applications—UI, service, and database.
  • Ability to work with large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or similar data processing tools.
  • Advanced programming skills with a strong focus on building tools that support both automated and manual testing workflows.

What would be great to have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in working with Android and IOS devices.
  • Testing Mobile, Tablet, and/or Handheld Device iOS/Android Development.
  • Experience working with POS (point of sale), payments or reporting applications.

Salary Range

$99,400.00 - $177,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
