HSM EngineerWhat does a successful HSM Engineer do at Fiserv?
As an HSM Engineer, you will bring your experience and knowledge of a variety of modern audit, development, and HSM products to make a large impact to Fiserv’s overall business. Your ownership of vulnerability, risk, and compliance processes, along with the ability to learn new technologies, will have you working with engineering, infrastructure, compliance, and privacy teams. This will ensure the security, compliance, and privacy of critical customer systems.
What you will do:
- Deploy and manage hardware security modules (HSMs)
- Work with application engineering, infrastructure, and corporate compliance teams to evaluate risk of new featuresEvaluate data privacy implications
- Perform code reviews for vulnerabilities and adherence to requirements
- Assist with design and deployment of highly-available, customer-facing systems
- Foster a strong security and compliance culture throughout .
What you will need to have:
- Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring hardware security modules (Gemalto, Safenet, Thales)
- Experience working with large auditing firms
- Mobile payment and online banking experience
- Experience with Global Platform or other embedded smartcard technologies.
What would be great to have:
- Practical experience with Java and/or Python
- Experience applying requirements of regulatory compliance controls, such as PCI, SOX, GDPR, etc.
- Understanding of cryptographic algorithms and implementations.
