Technical Quality Assurance - Professional II

What does a successful Technical Quality Assurance - Professional II do at Fiserv?

As a Technical Quality Assurance - Professional II, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software products. Your expertise will ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Collaborating closely with development and product teams, you will identify issues, implement best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. This role offers a significant opportunity to leverage your skills and experience, making a notable impact on our product offerings.

What you will do:

  • Execute system builds following the approved Service Request Agreement (SR) within designated timeframes.
  • Conduct thorough database validation prior to client turnover, addressing any identified defects promptly to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Document test objectives, scope, and requirements comprehensively for each project to facilitate clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
  • Ensure all system builds comply with the approved Pre-Certification document as applicable.
  • Carry out scripted certifications, repeating modules as necessary to rectify detected defects and uphold quality standards.
  • Validate inbound files to ensure successful reception and refresh in the test system, communicating outcomes clearly to clients, vendors, or processors as appropriate.
  • Generate and deliver outbound files to clients, vendors, or processors for various purposes such as review, posting, feeing, and statement generation.
  • Complete peer reviews and provide approved Pre-Certification and Certification Sign-off documents to clients at least two weeks before the target implementation date, contingent on successful certification.

What you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in automation testing.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in performance testing.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of database validation techniques and system build processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills to facilitate clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or technical analysis, demonstrating a solid understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to project timelines while maintaining compliance with project requirements.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving quality standards and addressing defects promptly.
  • Experience with automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Salary Range

$63,000.00 - $108,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
