Senior Finance Analyst

What does a successful Senior Financial Analyst do?

This is an EMEA wide analyst role working with multiple number of finance teams with exposure to working alongside the Senior Leadership Team.

The main focus will be supporting the Merchant, Issuing, and Fintech segment for both Corporate & BU requirements.

What you will do:

  • Monthly Corporate reporting including variance analysis/commentary and Forecast walks around headcount.
  • Month end deliverables. consolidate regional, business unit, and local financials for actuals and forecast. Validate completeness and reasonability of submissions. Prepare standard and ad hoc analysis.
  • Engage in business partnership on a cross-functional platform to support company-wide initiatives.
  • Support global initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement, including systems and process enhancements.
  • Managing R&O process to be able to advise on potential risks and opportunities to latest forecast.
  • Using Financial systems and tools to drill down into variances and query with local finance teams.
  • Sensitivity and trend analysis to support KPI for the business
  • Co-ordinating forecasting and planning guidance and assisting with local finance teams where needed.
  • Maintain templates to ensure correct corporate deliverables are met
  • Help maintain headcount tracking and produce Monthly headcount report.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have high attention to detail.

What you will need to have:

  • University degree in finance or accounting related field.
  • 5+ years of finance related experience or 3+ years of finance related experience and advance degree.
  • Strong financial background and solid accounting understanding – general ledger, financial systems, forecasting, financial statement analysis and project analysis
  • Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data from various sources, with complete attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Can translate insights into opportunities, interpreting financial data for a business audience and understanding how corporate strategy drives functional goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to partner with people at all organisational levels internally and communicate confidently.
  • Proficient in PowerBI and PowerApps.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset. Take ownership of problems and suggest innovative solutions.
