Vice President, Product Lead – In-Person PaymentsWhat does a successful Vice President, Product Lead – In-Person Payments do at Fiserv?
Are you a visionary product leader ready to redefine the future of payments? Join our team to own the strategy and execution for our next-generation in-person payment solutions, including terminals and SoftPOS. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading the full product lifecycle and shaping how enterprise and mid-market clients transact.
What you will do:
- Drive our product strategy, defining and executing the roadmap for terminals and SoftPOS solutions.
- Lead our innovation in areas like closed-loop routing, alternative payments, and digital asset acceptance at the point of sale.
- Oversee and grow our terminal and SoftPOS ecosystem, managing development and driving key hardware partnerships.
- Spearhead the creation of cloud-based solutions that seamlessly integrate with major POS systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful client onboarding and support.
- Act as a market and innovation leader, staying ahead of trends to find new opportunities for growth.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- At least 10 years of product leadership experience in the payments industry, with a focus on in-person and terminal solutions.
- Deep expertise in terminal platforms like Ingenico, Verifone, Pax, and Clover, as well as SoftPOS technologies.
- Proven experience building and scaling terminal estate management platforms.
- A strong understanding of payment routing, alternative payments, and digital assets.
- Experience with cloud-based POS integrations and APIs.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a passion for innovation.
What would be great to have:
- A deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including transaction flows and acquirer/gateway relationships.
- Experience with remote diagnostics, device telemetry, and fleet management for payment terminals.
- Familiarity with PCI compliance, EMV certifications, and payment security standards.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or the service industry payment ecosystems.

Salary Range
$220,000.00 - $330,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
