Tech Lead, Quality Assurance EngineeringPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to join our team following the resignation of the previous lead. This position involves overseeing the quality assurance processes, leading automation efforts, and ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and proficiency in Playwright.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the QA team in testing strategies and best practices.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Implement and manage automation testing frameworks using Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and establish testing protocols.
- Conduct performance testing and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze test results and report on defects and issues, facilitating timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and tools to continuously enhance QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide guidance on QA methodologies and practices to improve overall product quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proven experience working with Playwright or similar automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a passion for mentoring team members.
- Experience in agile development environments is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
