Job Title

Technical Business Analyst (Fluent in Spanish)

What does a successful Technical Business Analyst do at Fiserv:

A successful Technical Business Analyst at Fiserv turns complexity into clear, client-focused outcomes — combining analytical rigor, technical understanding and strong organization to drive product success across multiple clients in Latin America and the Caribbean.

What you will do:

  • Lead client engagements to gather and analyze business requirements, translate needs into prioritized, actionable items, and clearly communicate decisions and next steps to all stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive design and implementation documentation that converts client‑approved requirements into developer‑ready specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Support user acceptance testing and live rollouts by coordinating test activities, investigating reported issues, identifying root causes, and driving timely resolutions.
  • Own quality assurance for assigned initiatives: define test plans, test cases and test data, validate results, and work with development and QA to log and remediate defects.
  • Partner with technical teams to design and implement microservices and API testing strategies (REST API/RestAssured), ensuring automated, reliable validation of integrations.
  • Collaborate with project management to manage schedules and budgets across concurrent projects, and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date project documentation for traceability and client confidence.

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, including defining business requirements and authoring detailed design specifications.
  • 5+ years’ experience in test automation and in designing and executing test cases, covering system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English (bilingual proficiency).
  • Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines across concurrent projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent work or military experience.

What would be nice to have:

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or with vendors serving banks (experience with Signature or similar retail‑banking systems) and knowledge of retail banking regulatory requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience designing, testing and automating microservices and REST API integrations.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks and automation tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium and RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services for deployment, integration and testing.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
