This is a high-impact leadership role focused on delivering AI-first, frictionless, and future-ready platforms that optimize cost, speed, and sustainability across Gap Inc.’s brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will operate with a strong product mindset, business ownership approach, and deep knowledge of planning, sourcing, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment systems.
As part of the Global Technology Solutions team, this leader will play a pivotal role in reimagining how product comes to life and reaches customers efficiently and profitably in a connected commerce ecosystem.
What You'll Do
Product Lifecycle & Planning Transformation
Lead digital product strategies across product development, planning and merchandising to drive speed, precision, and cross-functional alignment.
Build tools that enable buy planning, demand-sensing, price optimization, and intelligent assortment planning across global networks.
Inventory & Fulfillment Optimization
Oversee product innovation for end-to-end inventory visibility, allocation, and replenishment—optimizing availability and working capital productivity and reducing cost to serve.
AI-Driven Planning & Pricing Systems
Modernize planning systems with AI, automation, and advanced analytics to anticipate demand, improve routing, and reduce waste.
Sustainability & Responsiveness
Drive investment in digital tools that improve agility and traceability—enabling responsible sourcing, on-demand production, and nearshoring flexibility.
Align product and supply chain platforms to support circularity, efficiency, and resilience in the face of global disruption.
Enterprise Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with Transformation Leaders, Product Development, Data Science, Engineering and Enterprise Architecture, and Finance teams to align tech investments with business growth and transformation goals.
Lead a high-performing team of product managers across the Merchandising and Merchandise Planning value streams—building enterprise capabilities and digital muscle.
Who You Are
9–10+ years of product leadership or business systems experience in Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Allocation and/or Pricing.
Strong understanding of retail planning, sourcing, fulfillment, and global supply chain operations
Proven experience building digital platforms that improve agility, visibility, and operational performance
Expertise in AI/ML, automation, and enterprise supply chain systems (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, o9, Anaplan)
Executive-level communication skills and ability to collaborate across operations, product, technology, and finance
Experience leading large, cross-functional product teams and major transformation portfolios
