In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate, influence, and strategize with multiple Marketing leaders and teams. This role is critical to the success of the business so we’re looking for an individual who is extremely analytical and super attentive to detail, a strong relationship builder, and motivated to drive results.What You'll Do
· Effectively manage monthly/quarterly financial forecast and close process
· Share critical weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial forecasts that accurately track and hindsight results
· Assist in modeling Athleta marketing performance to understand net demand driven by our marketing investments and risks/opportunities therein
· Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with others on a solution
· Provide ad hoc analytical support to inform and influence decision making
· Develop annual budgets that are aligned with Athleta’s business strategies
· Identify key drivers of P&L variability and proactively investigate and develop recommendations to mitigate risk or capture opportunities
· Assist in preparation of presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross functional teams at all levels of the organization
Who You Are
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, consulting, Big 4 accounting, or related equivalent
- Able to resourcefully problem solve and effectively drive to results
- Able to work collaboratively and build trust and respect across levels and functions with strong interpersonal skills; considered a true team player
- Advance Excel skills and knowledge of Anaplan, Oracle financial systems, and Essbase/Hyperion a plus
- Experience with a large consumer products retail company preferred
