About the Role
The Senior Analyst is part of the Old Navy Field Finance team, which oversees tracking and monitoring the performance of key financial and operating metrics for our stores in direct partnership with Upper Field leaders across North America. This role is responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly store performance tracking and presentation of several key metrics, sales budgets and forecast accuracy, payroll expense, and assists with several key store projects to continue evolving and driving our brand .The position partners cross-functionally with our several teams including Upper Field leaders, Store Operations, HR, Compensation, Labor Engineering, Asset Protection, and other business teams to provide decision support, identify sales growth and expense savings opportunities, and drive financial accountability. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Old Navy Field Finance.What You'll Do
Effectively track and monitor key financial & operational metrics. Communicate performance, key issues, and future looking impacts directly with Upper Field leaders.
Provide business partners with timely financial insights into operational efficiencies; assess and communication growth and savings opportunities; and proactively surface early indicators of risk through relevant reporting and analysis. Develops the annual store level sales budgets for all stores across North America in direct partnership the Old Navy FP&A team and Upper Field leaders
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with several teams including Upper Field leaders, Store Operations, and Labor Engineering to drive business performance while identifying key opportunities and risks.
Provide analytical support to business partner inquiries including store sales, expenses, trends, and incentive programs.
Assist in building and tracking business cases for key projects that support the continued evolution and growth of our brand.
Who You Are
BA in Finance, Accounting or related field. CPA or MBA a plus
FP&A and Retail experience including: forecasting, month-end close and budgeting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into a cohesive framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with all levels of management
Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions and work collaboratively with functional partners
Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with other groups, as necessary
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Hyperion Essbase experience a plus
Anaplan experience is a plus
