About the Role

This position plays an essential role as IT Manager to oversee all IT operations for our office and approximately 15 retail stores in Taiwan, while also supporting new store openings. As the primary IT contact in Taiwan, this position will be responsible for establishing a secure and efficient IT environment, enabling smooth daily operations across both corporate and retail location.

This role requires close collaboration with our IT team in Japan and the global IT teams mainly in the U.S. and India to ensure alignment with corporate standards and best practices. The role also requires strong project management capabilities to plan, coordinate, and deliver IT initiatives on time, particularly for new store openings and infrastructure upgrades. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, playing a key role in driving IT excellence in a rapidly growing market.

What You'll Do

  • Lead IT operations for the Taiwan office and all retail store locations in Taiwan.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters in Taiwan.

  • Collaborate with Japan IT team and the global teams to implement global IT standards, policies, and security frameworks.

  • Collaborate with business partners and global IT teams not only operationally but also in the project management of cross-functional initiatives
  • Source and maintain relationship with local IT service/support providers.
  • Lead IT-related projects by developing timelines, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

  • Plan and execute IT infrastructure for new store openings with local vendor partners, including POS systems, networking, security, and hardware/software deployment.

  • Manage and maintain store systems, store networks, and retail technologies.

  • Provide IT support, troubleshooting, and training for office and store employees.

  • Ensure IT security and compliance with global and local regulations.

  • Establish and manage vendor relationships with IT service providers.

  • Document IT procedures, share knowledge, and contribute to global IT best practices.

  • Assist in developing and managing IT budgets for office and retail operations.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of IT management or infrastructure leadership experience, preferably in retail or multi-site operations.

  • Expertise in retail systems, networking, operating systems (Windows/Mac), cloud platforms, and IT security.

  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing IT operations across multiple locations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
