About the Role

As part of Gap Inc.’s digital and process transformation in Finance, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support our financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a large, multi-brand retail organization.

What You'll Do

    Key Responsibilities

    · Design and maintain reports using Oracle EPM tools (Narrative Reporting, FCCS, Freeform, Smart View) and Oracle OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).

    · Prepare monthly financial and performance reports for leadership teams.

    · Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

    · Build and optimize dashboards, calculations, hierarchies, and reports in the Oracle EPM Cloud environment and Oracle OTBI.

    · Support budgeting, forecasting, and close processes with accurate reporting and analysis.

    · Collaborate with finance, data, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

    · Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and data security practices.

    · Train and support finance users on Oracle EPM, Oracle OTBI, and reporting tools.

    Required Qualifications

    · 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting or Essbase.

    · Strong background with Oracle EPM Cloud tools (especially Narrative Reporting, Freeform, FCCS, Smart View) and Oracle OTBI.

    · Advanced experience with Oracle Hyperion/Essbase and financial reporting

    · Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial planning cycles.

    · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS/CIS, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience with data governance, metadata management, and security in Oracle EPM.

    · Familiarity with other business intelligence tools.

    · Experience working in large, complex organizations with cross-functional teams.

    · Ability to think strategically and drive improvements through automation.

    · Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Who You Are

  • Who You Are / Additional Job Description:

    Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and data extraction.
  • Understanding of financial consolidation processes and multi-currency reporting.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI-driven financial modeling.
  • Background in change management or training programs for finance technology adoption.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
