Mobility assists and supports employees and their families when relocating to a Goldman Sachs office. A major focus of the role will include operational related responsibilities. This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong focus on analytical and technical skills, client-service, problem solving, proactively resolving issues and attention to detail.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Working on the Mobility team, this role is based in Bengaluru. You will work closely with Mobility teams and vendors onsite in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bengaluru, London, Warsaw, New York and Salt Lake City. The role will support various activities including data/cost analysis, PowerPoint presentation preparation, process documentation, reporting and global projects.

  • Generating mobility cost estimates
  • Global payroll management (including instruction, reconciliation and allowance revaluation)
  • Global Mobility tax operations (including tax preparation eligibility list preparation, tax compliance activities and reporting)
  • Participate in and support projects; policy reviews, technology/system changes, data analysis, reporting and metrics
  • Support process mapping/documentation exercises
  • Liaise with GS Technology, Compensation Accounting and mobility vendors as appropriate
  • Day to day management of external vendors, including acting as an escalation point
  • Proactive identification of compliance and/or risk issues (actual or potential) surrounding all aspects of mobility

Experience/ Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (analytical or a related field in HR preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience in the mobility field (tax and/or assignment management), with international experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and highly detail-oriented
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and strong Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Curious and quick to learn technology systems
  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to analyze data and make judgments based on GS policies and standards
  • Highly inquisitive and enthusiastic team player; and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience with mobility or international assignments preferred
  • Excited to be part of a global team operating across various time zones
  • Vendor management / coordination skills preferred
