THE TEAM
Workplace Solutions Engineering (WSE) is a core engineering function responsible for modernizing how work is executed across Goldman Sachs using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and adjacent workplace technologies.
WSE operates as the single front door for workplace solution architecture and modernization, sitting at the intersection of technology, product, and business. The team focuses on designing scalable, secure, and compliant execution patterns that enable business teams to move faster without increasing operational or regulatory risk.
THE ROLE
As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor, shaping end‑to‑end solution architectures that enable Goldman Sachs employees to work more effectively while meeting the firm’s high standards for security, resilience, and regulatory compliance. You will drive clarity in complex environments, influence architectural decisions without direct authority, and help standardize patterns that scale across the firm.
As a Solutions Engineer in WSE, you will work closely with business partners, engineering teams, and risk stakeholders to design and deliver production-ready, governed solutions, with a focus on workflow orchestration, identity-aware execution, and modernization of legacy desktop-coupled processes.
