YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the Cross Markets Team ("CMT") in Paris, part of PWM Capital Markets within Private Wealth Management. CMT delivers cross-asset investment ideas across instruments (mostly Structured Notes and OTC Derivatives) and across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Commodities), to Financial Analysts ("FAs"), Private Wealth Advisors ("PWAs") and their clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business, acting as a bridge between PWAs/FAs, the broader investment platform, and clients. In this role, you will primarily focus on producing, pricing, disseminating, advising on, and monitoring trade ideas, whilst ensuring adherence to all disclosure, suitability and controls requirements, as well as assisting the team with comprehensive checks, revenue tracking, and projects/platform development. Your primary stakeholders will be PWAs, FAs, products teams in London, and UHNW clients. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with FAs & PWAs to support their investment needs, including answering trade-related queries, producing investment presentations, pricing relevant solutions and helping with pre-trade and post-trade processes & requirements.
- Deepen relationships with FAs & PWAs through proactive market insights, acting as a trusted cross-assets subject matter expert on the whole PWM Markets offering.
- Source investment ideas aligned with market trends and research/trading views, produce marketing materials, undertake relevant controls functions approvals and disseminate, advise and monitor those ideas.
- Analyse client portfolios to identify risks and opportunities & deliver actionable recommendations, and communicate strategies clearly & transparently to FAs, PWAs, and participating in selected client meetings.
- Price vanilla and multi-factor OTC options, structured notes, and cash transactions across asset classes, leveraging in-house tools, London products teams, internal trading and external issuers.
- Assist the team with regular regulatory and supervisory monitoring tasks, revenue tracking, and projects/platform development, leveraging Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Finance/Management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging AI tools and contribute to developing & implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client service quality.
- Ensure disciplined adherence to internal policies and applicable advisory governance expectations consistent with the regulatory environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience in a front-office investment or capital markets role, with demonstrated cross-asset advisory and/or structuring/trading exposure in a client-facing environment.
- Strong interest in global financial markets and derivatives / structured products.
- Bilingual in English, as well as either Italian, German, or Spanish.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgment under time pressure, and high attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage stakeholders' expectations and to explain more complex investment solutions transparently, in simpler terms.
- Team-oriented player with a solid work ethic and high levels of motivation.
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
