Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing working across technology marketing, brand management or strategy consulting.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects with many stakeholders in a changing environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to interact with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with a top brand advertiser/B2B advertiser.
  • Understanding of Google's and YouTube’s ad products and technology industry.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a constantly evolving context.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders of all types, including Executive management, external agency partners, and peers.
  • Passion for technology, creativity, and leadership to execute effectively.
  • Excellent organizing and problem-solving skills.

The Ads Marketing team is at the forefront of a revolution in Marketing -- a shift from traditional Marketing tactics to new online, mobile and social strategies. Google's advertising platforms provide savvy advertisers with multichannel marketing opportunities, linking online marketing to brand impact and offline business.

As a Product Marketing Manager, Ads Marketing member, you will shape Google's point of view on the changing advertising landscape and support Google's growth through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns. You will work in the marketing strategy, planning and execution of programs to support the business teams in driving advertising business from large advertisers and agencies in Spanish Speaking LATAM. This will involve finding innovative ways to engage decision makers, educate the users of our products, developing and communicating the market insights about consumers and industries, promote Google's business brand and equip our business teams with the information and tools they need to more effectively promote our products. You will partner with business leads to drive programs that establish fresh thinking in the industry and deepen engagement with clients. This is a cross-functional role, involving close work with Public Relations and business, as well as collaborating with other marketing teams across Google’s Latam and global offices. You will also prepare the Google salesforce with marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and execute innovative marketing plans for Google and YouTube Ads in Mexico.
  • Be an expert on the formats, solutions, tools, brand positioning and own the narratives and activations for the same.
  • Identify and build innovative marketing strategies and plans to engage large brands and agencies with insights about Google and YouTube’s products and how they drive business results for the customers.
  • Develop compelling communications and creative assets that shift advertiser perceptions and behaviors. Identify and scope areas for experimentation to drive large advertisers and agency education, engagement and Google solutions adoption.
  • Innovate Google's message, best practices and perspectives to our customers and our industry peers via events and other direct client communications channels.
