Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent global mindset and ability to think across disciplines, industries, cultures and scenarios.
  • Excellent investigative skills, with capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
  • Passion for marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency work, AI, technology, or related fields.
  • Passion for YouTube's products and technology.
  • Excellent program management and communication skills.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns for new product or feature launches and measure efficacy against key KPIs.
  • Anchor unique experiences for YouTube's creator community to drive impact and show YouTube's value to key stakeholders in the engaged ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption of YouTube shopping with a focus on critical Business metrics (Gross merchandise value (GMV) and Earning channels).
  • Support team in evaluating product and feature improvements to better meet user needs, product readiness for launch, and communicate the new developments to users.
  • Partner directly with the YouTube Marketing team, our partners in business operations (BizOps), Product and Regional/Local marketing to creator engagement with YouTube and ensure users, creators, artists and other stakeholders of YouTube.
