Minimum qualifications:

- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with software infrastructure, platforms, or other technical, developer-facing products.

- Ability to be highly collaborative and adept at working across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to bounce between strategic and tactical issues while maintaining clear priorities.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
The Home Infrastructure team works with our partners across the Home organization and other product areas to ensure that our platforms deliver the capabilities, reliability, and developer experiences needed to build and serve high quality product experiences. We are looking for a deeply technical and organizationally adept Product Manager to join the team. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for Home serving infrastructure components and platforms. Incorporate understanding of business and product goals across Home and distill into serving infrastructure product requirements.
- Define strategy and launch changes that enable Home serving infrastructure to integrate with AI technologies to better serve product goals and our users. Partner with other Product Managers and engineering leads across Home.
- Develop and communicate product narrative for Home serving infrastructure with a focus on business and product impact. Ensure that product and user needs are clearly conveyed to our infrastructure engineering teams.
- Define product and technical metrics to measure how the platform performs, and use to drive improvements to quality and reliability.
- Develop and implement strategies to turn down old stack components to manage tech debt and entropy.
