Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal or external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data analysis using SQL/MySQL.
- Experience with multimodal content ingestion, troubleshooting and partner insights for Generative AI (GenAI) model training purposes.
- Experience in providing technical integration support to external/internal partners and creating tooling or automation solutions to support with excellent problem solving, investigative and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with with the UGC platform with the knowledge of creating detailed documentation (e.g., Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), g3docs) about new technical projects, Search Ecosystem and multimodal Data integration

The gUP Search Ecosystem team is supporting efforts to make Search modern to elevate human voices alongside Artificial Intelligence (AI)-motivated experiences. We work on initiatives across the Search Experiences Product Area (PA) that help bring User Generated Content (UGC) content into Search (e.g., videos and text-based UGC from third-party apps), and contribute to Generative AI (GenAI) launches motivated by the Research Product Area. We provide technical consulting, support and operations, data insights.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting integrations with external partners or internal clients. You will collaborate with teams in Engineering, Partnerships, and Product Management to take emerging product solutions from incubation to scale. You will balance business and partner needs with product or process constraints, develop solutions, build analytics and data insights, and act as a partner and consultant. You will also be able to influence product strategy and prioritise projects and resources.In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).
Responsibilities
- Support the scaling of operational workflows by tooling, automation, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical onboarding, debugging and troubleshooting support for partners.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Business Development) and internal stakeholders to facilitate Search product launches requiring partner or platform integrations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize product features required to improve the partner onboarding experience and enable onboarding.
- Gather, assess, and manage data and transform it into reports and insights by building Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards to analyze product and partner success metrics and analyze business trends.
