About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a role for a true marketing athlete—a creative, analytical, and agile leader who is passionate about understanding what drives human behavior and business growth. You will not be tied to a single product line; instead, you will be a partner who can move fluidly between issues, from shaping the go-to-market for a new AI-powered Ads feature one quarter to driving adoption for a core consumer product the next. You are an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enthusiast and a first-principles thinker who can translate technology into compelling value for any audience Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer (B2B or B2C). If you excel at building relationships, grow in a fast-paced environment, and are driven to connect deep insights to tangible outcomes, this role will provide a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across Google.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Be the definitive expert on our users and customers, regardless of the product area. Uncover actionable insights about their needs, jobs-to-be-done, and purchase behaviors to inform product strategy and marketing execution.
  • Craft clear, compelling, and audience-agnostic narratives that connect our technology to fundamental user value and business outcomes. Develop positioning that differentiates our products in a crowded, AI-driven market.
  • Design and lead end-to-end go-to-market strategies for a variety of products and features and pilot, measure, and iterate on campaigns and programs across various set of channels to drive awareness, adoption, and business impact.
  • Act as a critical connective hub, building excellent relationships and influencing across Product, Engineering, Business, PR, and other teams to drive alignment and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
