Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience in marketing with inbound and outbound marketing for technology products.
- 5 years of experience with people management.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects and building trusted partnerships with Product and Engineering leadership to craft product strategy and narratives.
- Experience in full-stack marketing, spanning product marketing, brand, and co-marketing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Track record of coaching and mentoring individuals and challenging the team to innovate and think differently.
- Passion for consumer tech and AI with strong pulse on industry trends and how technology is evolving across Google.
- Ability to influence at all levels, including at the executive level, and to work effectively across multiple functions.
- Excellent operational depth and a bias for action, prioritizing direct involvement in project mechanics to ensure quality from the ground up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with distinctive thought leadership and problem solving skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Craft a compelling narrative that clearly articulates maps’ global leadership and unique value, particularly in the age of AI with a new generation of users.
- Partner cross-functionally to influence the product outlook/roadmap with deep user and competitive insights.
- Lead impactful feature launch strategies/campaigns that showcase the best of Maps, with deep multi-channel expertise to reach users authentically.
- Develop impactful campaigns that center maps, drive brand advocacy, and deliver tangible growth and engagement via paid and Owned and Operated (O&O).
- Act as a player-coach to a high-performing team of multi-disciplinary marketers, fostering a culture that challenges the status-quo and pioneers fresh approaches to deliver on maps’ ambitions.
