Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with Go programming language.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing pipelines, integration tests, documentation and reliability monitoring and alerting.

This way we help customers find and stop cyber attacks before they cause harm. In industry terms, we are Google Cloud's SIEM+SOAR offering for Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code. Build expertise in our enterprise/large-scale customers' needs with regard to large-scale data processing, and work closely alongside a strong technical product team.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in).
  • Design and implement solutions that both improve our customers' security posture and help us scale programmatically to handle the operational requirements of a massively-scalable distributed service.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Develop capabilities to enable customers ingest large volumes of data (petabyte scale) for threat detection in a self-service, optimized and reliable manner.
