Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications using C# or Java.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and professional testing methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications on major cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience building and deploying authentication systems in production environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level cyber security solutions.

Security Operations by Google Cloud is advancing cybersecurity for enterprises of all sizes, dedicated to helping companies find and stop cyber attacks before they cause harm. The Security Operations platform delivers the entire range of products and services necessary for enterprises to address their needs, ranging from security analytics, response capabilities, and threat intelligence.

You will join the SOAR organization, which is central to improving security efficiency. Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) solutions enable the structured automation of the often manual investigation, analysis, and remediation actions that take place in a typical Security Operations Center (SOC).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the authorization and authentication framework for the entire SOAR platform, ensuring robust, secure user access for our global customer base.
  • Own the SOAR Settings Page, delivering intuitive and powerful control over the platform experience to our users.
  • Lead and contribute to multiple high-impact AI projects within the Platform. You will be a key player in pushing the boundaries of innovation by integrating Generative AI technologies, utilizing Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK) to build intelligent security agents that assist users in real-time.
