About the job

We exist to transform how all Googlers build software by unlocking the power of agentic AI. Our goal is to evolve Google’s internal development environment from a tool assisted workflow into a fully agent centric ecosystem. AI is fundamentally changing the nature of coding, and the Agents Foundations team is at the forefront of this shift, moving the developer experience from manual execution to high-level orchestration.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be on the Dev Mission Control UX team. You will be working in a team with lots of depth on coding and agentic AI. You will build and integrate high quality UX.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
