Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development with Python, Java or C++.
- 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- 5 years of experience in ML driven workflows, AI based assistants, intelligent agents, agentic frameworks.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience conducting applied research to improve the quality and production agents.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in platform development in major SaaS vendors.
- 5 years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, guiding project teams and technical direction while applying and productionizing large visual, language, and multimodal research.
- 3 years of experience fine-tuning large models (e.g., supervised, RLHF).
- Understanding of data model, API layer, UI and application development environments of at least one of the major SaaS providers.

Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of multimodal agentic experiences, creating systems that can understand and interact with the world through various modalities.
- Define the technical goal and long-term strategy for multi-agent orchestration across disparate data, api and agentic platforms, driving adoption of Gemini, Google Agent Cloud platform.
- Design and implement highly scalable evaluations infrastructure and processes to support onboarding and usage of multimodal agentic systems across platforms.
- Provide AI expertise to guide the technical relationship with Google’s customers and partners, helping them build large-scale model evaluation for workflows, business applications and agentic solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
