Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience in launching and iterating consumer products.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience in working with GenAI and machine learning technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience launching and managing AI/ML-powered products.
  • Passion for creating innovative and intuitive user experiences.
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, UX, marketing, legal, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear outlook and strategy to technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will help us evolve Chrome from being a window to the web into the best AI browser. You will lead the product strategy and outlook for key use cases in Gemini in Chrome. You will learn about specific user segments and develop innovative solutions to solve their pain points with AI.

This year, we launched Gemini in Chrome, bringing AI assistance directly into the browser. Now, we’re scaling the product and finding product market fit for a wide audience. You will play a pivotal role in transforming Chrome into a daily AI partner across a set of use cases. Join our mission to turn Chrome into a proactive, delightful partner that anticipates user needs and accelerates users' daily browsing on the web.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the product outlook, strategy and roadmap for key verticals in Gemini in Chrome to drive stickiness of the product.
  • Forge partnerships and influence cross-functional leaders across these verticals.
  • Understand user needs and pain points through user research, data analysis, and market research.
  • Own and drive go-to-market strategies for new use cases and features. Drive execution across multiple product areas and product excellence.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies and trends, particularly in the areas of AI and web browsing.
