Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience coding in C++.
- 1 year of experience working with SQL.
- 1 year of experience with distributed processing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience working with SQL Pipelines.
- 2 years of experience working with scripts.

Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) operates within the Google Cloud umbrella. We provide the infrastructure on which Google runs - both internally (Ads, YouTube, etc.), and externally (Google Cloud).Responsibilities
- Work on projects critical to Google’s needs, being versatile and independent, implement solutions to problems across the whole repair stack.
- Acquire domain knowledge about networking devices, new network topologies (how they fail, what the blast radii are), and apply this knowledge to improve the availability of the fleet at the scale of Google.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external partner teams to plan and execute the engineering programs.
- Improve the quality of engineering work in the team, bringing up and contributing quality-of-life improvements to our tech stack.
