About the job

Our Sourcing Specialists tell the story of Google to the world. They care deeply about cultivating relationships, have lively, thoughtful conversations with their candidates, and know our organization and its products well enough to articulate life-changing opportunities. As an expert in the talent needs of our business, you’ll be an adviser to the extraordinary people you find, engage, and guide through Google’s hiring process. By the time you’ve introduced a would-be Googler to our partners in recruiting, they are comfortable, well informed, and excited about the possibilities that await them here. The demands of our company, as it continues to grow and transform the industry, are great. Your analytical mind, curiosity, and sincere approach to your work make you exceptional enough to meet them.

The Latin America (Latam) Recruiting team is seeking a Sourcer to join the team. In this role, you will be a key player in identifying the talent essential to drive the future of Google in Latin America. Your work will directly support the growth of our Non Tech and Data Science team, enabling them to continue leading innovation in their respective product areas.

You will be responsible for finding and engaging with applicants for a variety of roles. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the needs of each role and develop sourcing strategies to build a representative talent pool, helping us build teams. Besides that, you will be responsible for driven market analysis together with our recruiters.

Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

Responsibilities

  • Help support outcomes for a talent ecosystem as a key contributor to meet hiring demand, making sure to build and execute against a consistent hiring process that works for all candidates.
  • Utilize sourcing expertise to identify and engage talent for a variety of non tech and data science roles within LATAM.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Build relationships with applicants, creating a positive experience that reflects Google’s culture and values.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and market landscapes to ensure our sourcing strategies remain effective and create reports on those.
