Minimum qualifications:
- 15 years of experience working in enterprise technology, management consulting, strategy, operations, technology, or a similar field.
- Experience in technical team leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams leading operational activities.
- Experience developing and executing projects from inception to deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with/in a complex, globally scaled product, sales and engineering environment
- Experience and comfort with large data sets and excellent data analytics skills.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, and market landscape.
- Distinctive problem solving skills and ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical leadership teams.
About the job
As the Senior Director of Strategy and Operations for the Infrastructure and Solutions Group (ISG) in Google Cloud, you'll work directly with business executives and key leaders on key business projects. You will manage strategic initiatives that include assessing market opportunities, developing Go-to-Market strategies and driving the associated business planning processes. You will take on ambiguous challenges, applying sound business judgment and effectively communicating complex issues to audiences that include sales executives, Product teams and executive Google leadership. You'll immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $301,000-$418,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead the annual and quarterly planning processes, which include the development of the business strategy, operating model, resource allocation, growth opportunities, priorities, and inorganic investments. Work with the cross-functional leadership team (e.g., Vice Presidents and Directors across Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, others) to develop strategy and drive enablement and execution.
- Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations. Manage strategic initiatives on both an on-going and ad hoc basis, working collaboratively across the global organization.
- Explain strategy and to influence cross-functional alignment and execution.
- Manage multiple competing priorities and be diligent in prioritizing.
- Cultivate a high-performing team culture by fostering respect, integrating unique perspectives, and proactively developing talent and wellbeing to ensure a trusted environment and inspire cohesive execution.
