Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience with end-to-end program delivery, process improvement, and working with engineering teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in working with all disciplines and levels of the organization to plan and meet goals, manage risks and drive clarity on ambiguity and decisions to ensure the organization remains aligned on meeting the goal.
- Ability to engage with engineering leads and contribute to technical discussions.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.Google Wallet's strategy is to be a digital wallet, offering quality experience to users. The team's mission is to support credential types that mirror what users carry in physical wallets today. We are scaling usage and expanding digitizing physical credentials to encompass new online use cases, such as keys and passwords.Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Involve in software development life-cycle, from ideation, through implementation to post-production support.
- Engage with external partners and interact with cross-functional teams to gather estimates or proposals and generate project plans.
- Own software implementation projects, including providing full project management, creation and maintenance of implementation documentation and tracking timelines and deliverables.
- Work with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during design and implementation, and in post-production.
