Napa is the new peta-scale, multi-homed, distributed storage engine optimized for high-update throughput of metrics data. Napa provides materialized views, supports low-latency point queries and high-throughput table scans, updates are consistently applied to materialized views across data centers.

Napa improves Mesa's analytical storage solution with the features of flexible data models, including the support for all GoogleSQL data types. Low-latency and flexible update operations. Effective view management. Self-service through simplified user interfaces and extensibility. PII (security and privacy) support. Higher resource efficiency compared to Mesa. Removal of legacy Mesa concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead a service or component area of Napa's expansion in Bangalore. This includes providing technical leadership on high-impact projects.
Collaborate on planning a roadmap. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Deploy infrastructure productionization. Large-scale distributed system development.
Partner with infrastructure and client teams to guide integrations.
Review designs and code of other engineers for quality and correctness.
