Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with programming in C++, Java, Python.
  • 5 years of experience with test automation development, test infrastructure development, workload regression testing.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with dashboard development and maintenance.
  • 5 years of experience with guiding a team of software engineer as a technical expert.
  • Experience with leading the validation of performance measurement tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability, with the ability to contribute to automation/infrastructure and debug CPU/GPU performance issues.
  • Experience with performance bottleneck analysis, with the ability to analyze, triage and debug performance characteristics in data-center workloads.
  • Excellent problem-solving, consulting and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) performance team. Drive multi-quarter projects from planning through landing to meet Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Define the team’s roadmap, translate automation and infrastructure requirements into realizable solutions, and resolve technical and organizational roadblocks through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the United States (US) and Taiwan teams. Take end-to-end ownership of automation infrastructure for Cloud and Technical Infrastructure (TI) workloads.
  • Lead the development and scaling of analysis tools for regression testing. Accelerate New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles and expand coverage.
  • Analyze and debug performance characteristics in data-center workloads to drive gains. Triage issues at the intersection of Solid State Drive (SSD), Central Processing Unit/Graphics Processing Unit (CPU/GPU), and network stacks.
