Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software programming in C++.
  • Experience in Network protocols.
  • Experience in Low Latency Networking and High Performance Computing
  • Experience in Distributed Computing and Parallel Computing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with different network protocols.
  • Experience building high load and high performant systems.
  • Experience working as or with Site Reliability Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build Google-scale systems that never fail and manage millions of Queries Per Second (QPS) with the lowest possible latency.
  • Work in a small and a focused team where your contribution and technical impact will be substantial, with ability to directly influence on the engineering directions.
  • Collaborate across many teams within BigQuery and generic Google services.
  • Work closely with BigQuery SREs and Leads from various domains.
