About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Services Delivery Leader for US National Security is a key leadership role within Google Public Sector.

In this role, you will utilize your technical, managerial, and leadership skills to oversee multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered end-to-end. Your primary mission is to securely deploy Google technology, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to drive mission value in large, multi-year transformational engagements for National Security customers.

You will manage the comprehensive project portfolio, providing delivery management and consulting that exceeds customer expectations. This includes pre-sales scoping, requirements gathering, risk management, and project scheduling. You will collaborate closely with Google’s sales, cross-functional executives, and technical leaders to oversee GCP solution deployment, including leveraging our exceptional security resources to protect customers.

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

  • Lead pre-sales scoping engagements for seamless transition into delivery. Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading the deployment of Google AI and Security solutions to customers and partners.
  • Manage the available time and utilization of Security Engineers and Technical Program Managers, establishing a reliable cadence for portfolio reviews, decision-making, and prioritization, while considering quality, customer, and financial metrics.
