  • Experience with forecasting.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) is the organization that works with mid-market and small advertisers to make them successful across Search, Digital Video Advertising (DVA), and YouTube. The business drives more than half of the business growth for Google Ads.

GCS Ads Finance is the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) partner for GCS. Our work is integral to the key decision-making and operations of the business. We identify business growth drivers, forecast future performance, provide recommendations on resource allocation, and analyze the lifetime value of our advertisers.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build data science models and develop statistical analysis on business, growth, and other business metrics.
  • Partner with leaders in the sales organization to understand drivers of business growth, risks, and opportunities and support insights with comprehensive and advanced data analysis for GCS business.
  • Drive projects jointly with cross-functional partners. Examples of projects you may drive include: selecting metrics and building an early warning system for business attainment based on operational metrics.
  • Lead decision making on investment strategies for products, identification of key market drivers for business generation and business profitability, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain long-term financial models to understand the viability of projects, analyze expected returns, and support long-term resource allocation.
