- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in marketing/media, sales, business development, or consulting.
- 5 years of experience with people management, leading and developing a business team, and managing geographically dispersed teams.
- 5 years of experience working cross-functionally and developing business strategies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in online sales, business development, and digital advertising sales/marketing.
- Proven ability to understand stakeholder motivations, allowing you to influence key decision-makers to devise and scale business strategies.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with a proven track record of translating complex, ambiguous topics into clear, concise presentations for stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate smoothly across cross-functional boundaries.
About the job
We are a highly collaborative team who deliver at-scale, customer focused priorities, transfer product knowledge to our Google sellers, and influence product design. By liaising with our partner teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product/Engineering, Sales Finance, Education), the Performance, Products, Solutions and Data (PSD) team works to equip Large Customer Sales (LCS) Sales with the information, training, collateral, and opportunities needed for future growth and to ensure that our customers’ needs are addressed and expressed to client/product teams.As the Head of Performance for Search+, you will lead Spanish Latin America (SPLA’s) performance strategy into the AI era, guiding this transformative stage from inspiration to execution for our region. Leading a team of experts across Search, Shopping, Apps, and Commerce Media, you will own the product strategy, consolidate global and local priorities, and accelerate the adoption of AI-driven solutions by partnering with sales teams, advertisers, and agencies. In this role, you will advocate a "One Google" strategy by collaborating cross-functionally across Search, Measurement, YouTube, and Cloud, while influencing global product roadmaps with local market feedback. Additionally, you will monitor key growth metrics, oversee ecosystem enablement, and act as the premier thought leader and spokesperson for Spanish Latam across major industry forums and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product strategy across Search+. Consolidate Global and AMER plans, together with local needs to develop a goal for SPLA’s Search and Shopping priorities.
- Ensure SPLA needs are understood by Global and AMER teams in order to properly drive an activation strategy aligned to what matters locally.
- Partner with Large Customer sales teams, Google advertisers, and Ad agencies to increase adoption and usage of Search+ AI driven Products. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and activate top opportunities on the named account list.
- Work with your team and with AMER Product to ensure effective narratives are developed. Leverage those resources to equip sellers with product knowledge and expertise.
- Work cross-functionally across Search, Measurement, YouTube and Cloud to drive a consolidated One Google strategy.
